On June 1, 2020, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC is recalling all lots of Metformin Hydrochloride Extended Release Tablets, 500 mg and 750 mg.
Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC is recalling all lots of this medication because it may have amounts of an ingredient which could cause cancer.
