To make working with us easier, the Horizon Behavioral Health Network Relations team is pleased to offer educational webinars to participating providers and their office staff. We have scheduled and ad hoc presentations, so check back regularly to see if new webinars or additional sessions have been scheduled.

A detailed review of how to submit authorizations and pre/post service medical necessity reviews through our Utilization Management Request tool on NaviNet. Please see the attached Self Study Guide for instructions on using the Utilization Management Request Tool.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requires that all contracted medical and behavioral health providers and staff receive basic training about our Fully-Integrated Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (FIDE-SNP) Model of Care. Our Horizon NJ TotalCare (HMO D-SNP) Model of Care is the plan we offer for delivering coordinated care and care management to special needs members.
This online webinar, which is offered two days a month, must be completed by:
- All newly credentialed Horizon NJ Health practitioners and staff shortly after joining our network.
- All participating Horizon NJ Health practitioners and staff on an annual basis.
Attestation Form
Following completion of this required annual training, please complete and submit a copy of our Attestation Form to document that you have satisfied your training requirement for the calendar year.
