Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc. (Teva) has recalled one lot of Paliperidone (Invega) Extended-Release Tablets, 3mg, 90 count bottles. The drug is being recalled because it does not dissolve the right way.

The lot was distributed from December 2016 through March 2017, in the United States. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said it has put in place a Class I Recall.

As stated by the FDA:

  • This recall affects Lot 1160682A, Expiration 6/2018, NDC 0591-3693-19 that was distributed under the Actavis Pharma Inc. label.
  • Teva says that there may be other tablets of this type that do not meet specifications.
